According to a recent MNDOT traffic study, approximately 23,000 vpd travel the section of White Bear Avenue closest to Maplewood Town Center, and approximately 74,000 cars per day pass the center along I-694.

The center was built in 1987 and the in-line retail shoppes were remodeled in 2008.  In 2012 DSW was welcomed to the development when the former 40,000 sf Best Buy building was downsized and given a complete exterior face lift.
